When your schedule is laid out for the day, the small friction of acting on it matters. This update focuses on making it easier to review and adjust your daily plan, with a set of reliability fixes alongside.

Daily plan interaction

• Tapping a scheduled block now expands an action bar directly inline, replacing the previous flow of hover buttons that opened a separate modal. Actions are easier to reach without leaving the plan view, and the experience works naturally on mobile too.

• The reasoning behind each scheduled block is now shown separately from your own notes, so you can quickly understand why something was planned without it mixing with your reminders.

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where creating a time block from a task suggestion would fail to link the two correctly, causing the task not to show as scheduled.
• Fixed a bug where dropping a task would move it to the Closed list instead of removing it from view.
• Improved the consistency of language used in task breakdowns, content optimization, and daily summaries for users whose preferred language is not English.

The Today view now knows what time of day it is. Ideal Week themes feed into daily planning and briefings. And a long-standing bug where clearing task fields didn't stick has been fixed.

Today view redesign

• Morning, Active Day, and Evening each show a different layout with prompts and actions specific to that phase of the day.
• On mobile, the layout has been tightened up with clearer prompts.
• In the Evening view, Quick Capture expands to full width when it's the only action shown.

Ideal Week in daily planning

• Each Ideal Week block now supports a description field, so you can record the intent behind the theme, not just a name.
• Ideal Week themes are now included when generating schedule suggestions and daily briefings.
• The Three-Day View shows your Ideal Week theme inline, expandable to the full description.
• The Morning Brief now includes your Ideal Week theme for the day.

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug where clearing optional task fields (notes, due date, location) would revert on the next load.
• Fixed a bug where task details could fail to refresh when navigating between tasks.
• Fixed a bug where checking off items in the Day Close flow could affect unrelated items.
• Fixed an issue where closed tasks appeared in the task picker when no search term was entered.
• Fixed the Daily Plan to preserve time blocks already in progress when suggesting a revised schedule.
• Fixed the Morning Brief to stop generating a fictitious timeline on days with no scheduled events.

A lot of this release is about things that should have just worked. Replanning your day and losing task links. Blocks landing in time slots that had already passed. Closed tasks showing back up in the Open tab. We went through the daily plan flow end-to-end and fixed the rough edges.

Daily plan

• Completed timeboxes now show up in the preview before you apply a new plan, so you can see what's already done.

• Past timeboxes are protected when you apply a plan. Work you've already placed won't get overwritten.
• The schedule won't suggest start times that have already passed.
• All-day calendar events are now included when generating your plan.

Task connections

• Tasks linked to a timebox stay connected after replanning. The link no longer disappears when the schedule is rebuilt.
• When you apply a plan, tasks inside timeboxes are immediately marked as scheduled.
• Closing out your day automatically closes tasks that were inside completed timeboxes.

Suggestions

• Suggestions are now more tailored to how you actually work.

Bug fixes

• Fixed a scroll issue on mobile where the task list would get stuck and couldn't scroll up.
• Fixed closed tasks briefly reappearing in the Open tab after ending the day.
• Fixed a layout issue where a long goal name caused the task detail panel to scroll sideways.
