v0.16.14Minor
Morning Suggestions, Goal Picker & Task Improvements
When you open Orlo in the morning, it now knows what's already on your calendar and gives you a clear explanation for why each task is worth starting today. You can also link any task to a goal directly from the task detail — no extra steps.
Morning Suggestions
- Your morning suggestions now come with a brief explanation of why each task was selected, helping you make quicker, more confident decisions.
- Tasks already scheduled in your day are no longer suggested, keeping recommendations relevant and free of duplicates.
- Accepted suggestions are remembered across sessions, so your choices persist even after closing and reopening the app.
- The morning brief notification now highlights a key point from your personalized summary.
- Suggestions are pre-generated in the background so the morning view loads immediately, without waiting.
Goal Picker in Task Detail
- You can now assign or remove a goal association directly from the task detail view.
- When a goal is completed, all tasks linked to that goal are automatically dropped, keeping your task list up to date without manual cleanup.
Improvements
- The task creation flow on mobile now focuses the input field directly, reducing the number of taps to add a task.
- Creating a task and then canceling no longer leaves behind an empty placeholder.
- The calendar view now shows your events instantly from local storage, with network updates loading silently in the background.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where typing in Chinese (or other input methods) could accidentally submit a form before the character was confirmed.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the morning view under certain account states.
- Fixed task category not being included when scheduling a suggested task, which caused suggestions to not appear in some cases.
- Fixed a reliability issue with push notification token cleanup that could leave stale tokens registered.
- Fixed a data access issue in daily plan generation that could silently fail.
- Fixed task category not being tracked correctly when marking a task complete from the task detail.
